Elizabeth Warren Considered for Clinton Running Mate

Elizabeth Warren, the Senator from Massachusettes is being considered as a potential running mate for Vice President alongside Hillary Clinton, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The report by the Wall Street Journal also negated the possibility of Bernie Sanders running alongside Hillary though they met earlier this week. Sanders campaign spokesman Michael Briggs said this, “Senator Sanders and Secretary Clinton met in Washington on Tuesday evening and had a positive discussion about how best to bring more people into the political process."

The Wall Street Journal reported other potential VP candidates as U.S. Labor Secretary Tom Perez and U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro. Additionally Senators  Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Tim Kaine of Virginia, and Cory Booker of New Jersey are in the runnings. U.S. Representatives Tim Ryan of Ohio, Xavier Becerra of California and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti are also being considered.
