Destined to Win: Kris Vallotton Helps Believers Find & Fulfill Destiny

We all know we have a purpose, a work, ordained by God, for us to do here on this side of eternity. But how do we actually figure out what that purpose is? We know we have it, but how do we walk into it and fulfill it?

Those are questions Kris Vallotton, senior associate leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California answers in his new book, Destined to Win.

In the book, Kris lays out his process, based on sound Biblical theology and practice, that he has walked through himself and has taken thousands of students a year through in the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, a ministry school 2,400 students strong that he co-founded alongside Bill Johnson.

"Everybody has a purpose. Most people are saying, 'Ok I am convinced I have a purpose, but what is it and how do I find it?,'" Vallotton explained in a recent interview with Logos Post.

"How do I find the plan, how do I find the purpose? How do I know why I was born? Possibly the most asked question in Christianity, what am I supposed to be doing?, continued Vallotton.

Valloton wants to help believers answer these questions and he does it well in Destined to Win. But he is quick to say, this is not just another self-help book. Destined to Win is an examination into the Scriptures to help all Christians uncover who God made each of us to be and to walk in the work he appointed for us. Vallotton wants believers to understand both their strengths and weaknesses, embracing them both and allowing the love of God to transform our hearts, root out sin's ecosystem in our lives, and walk into the God-given destiny of our lives to the glory of God.

"First you need to find your people," explained Vallotton. He relates his own story of meeting Bill and Beni Johnson when he and his wife Kathy were 24 years old, and the resulting impact the ministry has had around the world through Bethel

"The most important part of life is finding the right people. It isn't until you find the right people that you can find your destiny," explained Vallotton.

Vallotton shared once you find your people, you need to know your role as a part of the body and know how we fit. Then you know your people and your role. Next, it's time to develop your gifts and use them to serve others. The goal is to set the foundation for people to discover, develop, and deploy in their purpose.

"I wrote the book for our brothers and sisters to cross denominational lines," explained Vallotton. This isn't a book where you have to believe in the gifts of the Spirit to benefit from. This book is written for all believers."

So if you want to confront challenges that limit you—such as living shackled by past pain, fear, blame, and guilt —Vallotton offers practical solutions to the often-complex problems that undermine destinies and derail true purpose. With personal stories and biblical teaching, Destined to Win combines practical wisdom and profound revelation to unlock the latent potential present in each person.
