Strong Presence of Trump Administration Expected at March for Life
The world’s largest annual pro-life demonstration is taking place tomorrow in Washington, D.C. The 44th annual March for Life is expecting tens of thousands of visitors, an event which seeks to promote the dignity of every human life and to stand against the greatest human rights violation of our time – abortion-on-demand.
"I think it is no secret the President has campaigned as a pro-life president. Obviously we're going to have heavy administration presence there. It's no secret that this administration and this president are going to do what they can to fight for life," said Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
The exact details of the President's participation is still to be determined.
Speakers at this year's event include Kellyanne Conway, the highest-ranking White House official to ever speak at the March, will now be joined by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), Representative Mia Love (R-UT) and Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ), along with many other prominent pro-life figures – including Archbishop of New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson, former Planned Parenthood Director and founder of ‘And Then There Were None’ Abby Johnson, Mexican Telenovela star Karyme Lozano, author and radio host Eric Metaxas, Bishop Vincent Matthews of the Church of God in Christ, who advocates for adoption in the African-American community, and a surprise VIP at the March for Life rally on the National Mall on January 27th, 2017.
A report earlier today by Life News suggested that Vice President Mike Pence will be speaking at the event.
