Romans 8:28: World's Favorite Bible Verse

YouVersion Bible App, now with more than 250 million downloads, has just announced the world's favorite Bible verse from 2016. And the winner is: Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
According to the platform's annual impact report, the verse was shared on the YouVersion platform 548,734 times throughout the year. The platform also broke down top Bible verses by country, as the Bible is available in over 1,000 languages on the free app, downloadable via Android, Apple and others. The favorite verses by country include:
China: Philippians 4:6
Saudi Arabia & Zambia & Brazil: Jeremiah 29:11
Israel & Afghanistan: Zechariah 14:9
YouVersion reports that Bible engagement is increasing around the world including Nepal, Iraq, Africa and South America, as translations continue to grow.
"Shortly after the Nepali New Revised Version and the New Testament in Eastern Tamang became available in the Bible App, users in Nepal began discovering them, prompting one of the most rapid increases in Bible reading in a heart language that we've ever seen."
Another notable increase was in Indonesia,
"Although the Bible App features 26 Bibles in languages commonly spoken in Indonesia, the four that we offer in the Bahasa Indonesian language are by far the most popular. Usage for the most popular version, Indonesian New Translation, is almost evenly split between online and offline."
According to the report the Bible App is opened on average around the world 125 times per second.
