Nabeel Qureshi Diagnosed With Stomach Cancer, Asks For Prayer

Christian Post is reporting that Nabeel Qureshi, author of No God But One: Allah or Jesus? has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.

“My family and I have received the news that I have advanced stomach cancer, and the clinical prognosis is quite grim,” he wrote in a Facebook post. “Nonetheless, we are going to pursue healing aggressively, both medical and miraculous, relying on God and the fact that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

He has cancelled nearly all of his speaking engagements as a result.

“Friends and family, may I ask you to fast and pray fervently for my healing?” he wrote on Facebook.

“I am so thankful that I am a child of the Father, redeemed by the Son, and sealed in the Spirit,” he wrote. “No, in the midst of the storm, I do not have to worry about my salvation, and for that I praise you, God.”

Nabeel Qureshi was raised as a Muslim and later accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He is the author of two other books including the New York Times Bestseller, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus and Answering Jihad: A Better Way Forward. He is studying for his doctorate in New Testament Studies at Oxford University.
