Donald Trump Appoints New CEO and Campaign Manager
Donald Trump announced in a press release today the appointment of Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon as CEO and Republican campaign strategist Kellyanne Conway as Campaign Manager. Breitbart News is a conservative news website.
Conway is also a pollster who founded The Polling Company, Inc./Woman Trend.
“I have known Steve and Kellyanne both for many years. They are extremely capable, highly qualified people who love to win and know how to win,” said Mr. Trump in the press release.
The Trump team is also slated to unveil a new national television ad campaign later this week.
Bannon holds an MBA from Harvard Business School in addition to a Master’s degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and owned an investment bank.
“It is imperative we continue to expand our team with top-tier talent. Steve and Kellyanne are respected professionals who believe in Mr. Trump and his message and will undoubtedly help take the campaign to new levels of success,” said Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort.
