Syrian Arab Coalition Forces Seize ISIS Command Center In Manbij

Syrian Arab Coalition Forces seized an ISIS command center on Sunday, in the Syrian city of Manbij, military officials said in a press release.

Officials with Operation Inherent Resolve said the command center was also being used as a logistics hub. Coalition forces also overtook large parts of the city which allowed civilians to escape, according to the release.

“Since the operation began, the Coalition has conducted more than 450 strikes near Manbij,” according to the press release. “These airstrikes destroyed Da'esh heavy weapons, vehicles, fortifications, vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices, VBIED facilities, armored vehicles, technical vehicles, bridges, and caches.”
