3 Dead In Michigan Courthouse Shooting

Three people are dead after a shooting at a courthouse in St. Joseph, Michigan. Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey said in a press conference that the incident occurred at 2:25 p.m. on the third floor of the courthouse. He said the victims included two bailiffs and the suspect.

A deputy sheriff is still being treated for gunshot wounds in the hospital.

Governor Rick Snyder wrote on Twitter “please join me in praying for those affected.” He said just moments ago that he was traveling to St. Joseph for a briefing on the situation.

Michigan State Police personnel are expected to update the media with more details soon.
