Hillary Clinton Expected To Win Democratic Nomination
The Associated Press has just reported that Hillary Clinton may already have the secured the number of delegates needed to win the Democratic nomination.
Their “Delegate Tracker” explains how they came to this conclusion. They said “totals include unpledged ‘superdelegates’- party members free to back the candidate of their choice who have told the Associated Press whom they support.” As a result, the AP predicts Clinton will have 2,383 delegates, which is the exact number needed to secure the nomination.
However, Bernie Sanders is challenging this.
Official word on the Democratic nomination is expected to come tonight after votes are tallied in the following states: California, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Jersey and New Mexico.
