Movie Amerigedden Blocked in Some States?
The much anticipated film, Amerigeddon, directed by Mike Norris, the son of Chuck Norris, is being met with some resistance outside the faith-based community. Some say the movie is being deliberately blocked because it is so true and could serve as a wake-up call to the American people.
The movie is about America in the aftermath of an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) bomb attack in which the American people are forced to live under martial law and struggle to survive. An EMP bomb could completely wipe out the power grid.
On the official website, the faith-based film is described as “the movie the establishment doesn’t want you to see.” Some sources have said the movie is being “banned by Hollywood.” The movie is being endorsed by several high-profile ministries.
The lead producer is Gary Heavin, the co-founder of Curves Fitness who also has an acting role in the movie.
In a statement on the movie’s official website, director Mike Norris said, “My family has long been involved in protecting the rights of Americans. We are concerned about the future and see this film as a call to action. We urge people to join us in theaters and show Hollywood and politicians that true patriots will fight for their rights and want to see their values represented on-screen.”
As of the time of this writing, there are no theaters in New York, Pennsylvania and many other states showing the movie. However, there are select theaters in Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas showing the movie.
The movie is set to open Friday, May 13, 2016.
