Ted Cruz Hosts Prayer Meeting on Capitol Hill

Former presidential candidate Ted Cruz hosted a group of conservative Christians on Capitol HIll this week to break the power of Satan off of Washington. The meeting was organized by a couple of Christian groups including Wallbuilders led by David Barton and the Jefferson Gathering led by Jim Garlow pastor of Skyline Church in San DIego, CA.

"Sen. Ted Cruz was eloquent as usual. He came through a bruising election - and continues to be a profound & significant voice in the Senate. Thank God for him!" Garlow noted on Facebook.

Cruz was a popular candidate with many conservative Christians but once Trump beat him in the primaries, many evangelicals put their support behind Trump.

"There are at least 5 or 6 pastors...in Congress. Congressman Jody Hice - GA - is one of those & was my friend before he went to the US House of Representatives. These are the type of high quality people who are representing you," Garlow wrote on social media.

"The problem has been in the White House & 5 of the Justices of the SCOTUS. The problem is NOT the Congress," he noted.
