Trump Scheduled to Meet with Romney Tuesday

President-elect Trump is scheduled to meet again with former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney Tuesday furthering the speculation of his possible appointment to Secretary of State. The appointment of Romney would be especially controversial and surprising considering Romney's public opposition to Trump during his campaign calling him a con-man and a phony.

Trump advisor and campaign manager Kellyanne Conway took to talk shows Sunday in her opposition to the idea stating that Trump's loyal supporters feel betrayed over the idea of Romney as potential Secretary of State.

According to Politico Trump and Hence are scheduled to meet with a number of candidates for positions within the administration including,

  • Rp. Marsha Blackburn, (R-Tenn.)
  • Pete Hegseth, former of CEO Concerned Veterans of America
  • Marion Blakey, president and CEO of Rolls Royce North America
  • Sen. Bob Corker, (R-Tenn.)
  • Rep. Mike McCaul, (R-Texas)
  • Rep. Lou Barletta, (R-Pa.)
