Falwell Declined Job As Education Secretary

Jerry Falwell Jr., President of Liberty University, the nation's largest Christian University told the Associated Press that he was offered the position of Education Secretary in Trump's cabinet but he declined. Falwell Jr. said he could not make the 4-6 year commitment that Trump was asking for because of his responsibilities at Liberty and his commitment to his 16 year old daughter at home.

Falwell did praise Trump's choice of Betsy DeVos for the role calling her an excellent choice.
