Trump: Part of God's Humbling Process
Rick Joyner, pastor, author and an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump believes what has happened to Donald Trump is part of God's process for preparing a leader, according to a recent Facebook post where he reveals a prophetic word that stated if Trump would humble himself he would win the upcoming election this November.
Joyner referenced the stripping process of Aaron when he was appointed high priest. The process involved a public stripping and washing so the people would see that although he was high priest, he needed God's grace and cleansing just as everyone else. Similarly this public stripping and cleansing through repentance, Joyner believes is happening to Donald.
COULD THE REVELATION OF DONALD TRUMP'S TAPED CONVERSATION BE EVIDENCE OF GOD'S CALL ON HIS LIFE?
When Moses ordained Aaron as the high priest he stood him at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting, which was in the center of the camp, right in front of everyone. Then Moses stripped him, and then he washed him, and then he clothed him in the priestly garments. All of Israel knew that Aaron was just a man like they were, and that he too needed cleansing just like they did. That is how God ordained His highest priest, and it is still how God ordains those of high purpose. He will first humble them before those they are called to serve. He wants them to know, and the people know that we all are in need of God's grace, and His cleansing.
Over the years I've also seen that the higher or more public your calling is, the more public your "stripping" or humiliation will be. The wise in Israel averted their eyes when Aaron was being stripped, because we will reap what we sow, and those who give grace to others when they are going through this will receive grace when it is their turn.
A friend of mine gave Donald Trump a prophetic word last March that he would be president if he humbled himself. About a year ago some friends that I hold in high esteem prayed for him to receive the Lord. Those who know him (DT) know that a change has taken place in his life. He was not made instantly perfect, or instantly mature, but the little time that I have spent with him personally I have seen an uncommon fear of the Lord, and respect for clergy or men and women of God that is rarely found in the church today. He also has a sensitivity to the anointing that I have found rare, though I'm not sure DT even knows what it really is, but when anything is said around him that is anointed he becomes amazingly focused.
I expect more humbling revelations to come out about Trump, and the tapes and transcripts about Hillary that are now coming out are as bad or worse. I was in the navy and I don't remember any sailors or airmen who were as filthy mouthed as she has been since there is a record. Of course the media won't cover it, but its starting to circulate on Social Media. I don't recommend reading it because you will be slimmed. We need to all use this as a teaching moment though. Is this who we want to be? The moral fabric of our nation has been shredded. Even preteens now use the f-bomb in nearly every sentence. That is evidence of the level of disrespect both sexes have for each other, and themselves. Sex was given to us as something beautiful, and elevating in a committed love relationship. The perversion in our land has now touched just about everyone.
The fear of the Lord does not always translate into respect for people. If Trump still comes across as arrogant it's probably because he has such a deep distain for politicians. He knows how easy they are to manipulate, and how quickly they will sell out for money. Its because he knows the system by having used it that he knows how much it needs to be changed.
I was personally glad to see Speaker Ryan and the Republican establishment abandon Trump after the tape revelation. It was all about CYA for them, and we've learned to expect that from them. I think Trump would have been better off all along as an Independent, and that's essentially what he is now.
Trump wanted to run as a Republican because a lot of changes in his life in the last few years have led him to be a real believer in the basic Republican platform. However, as we have seen repeatedly the last few years, the Republican establishment that claims to believe in this platform don't have the courage to stand up for it, and will abandon it quickly for political expediency. Ronald Reagan said that he did not leave the Democratic Party, but the party left him. Well, I don't think we have left the Republican Party--it has left the people. If Trump is elected now I think he will be the first president in a long time that can truly be the President of the United States, not just of one party.
